DIAPER DISTRIBUTION
Your gift of $35 a month provides a month's supply of diapers to two children in your community who are experiencing diaper need. With one in three families unable to afford diapers in Coastal Virginia, your support helps lift the financial burden off the shoulders of hard-working, overwhelmed moms, dads, kinship caregivers, and foster parents who otherwise feel lost and out of options. This resource creates a sense of belonging and tells these children: You are loved, you are seen, you are safe.
EMERGENCY RESOURCES
Just $85 a month can provide care to vulnerable families. And where foster care is the only safe option, your giving closes the gap between a child sleeping in a hotel room or in a safe and dependable foster home. It equips foster families with the resources they need to say yes. It keeps siblings together, rather than separated. And when possible, your giving provides resources for the family of origin. It provides stability to families in crisis, so the number of children requiring state intervention is reduced. It keeps children in their homes. Your giving is family preservation.
TRAUMA COMPETENCY EDUCATION
Your gift of $125 a month makes it possible for 10 caregivers, educators, professionals, or ministry leaders to receive Trauma Competency Education and resources and grow their understanding, compassion, and skillset, aiding their passion to provide safe spaces for children and families to heal from the traumas of their pasts and form new frameworks and belief-systems for a future in which children can learn to trust, heal, and flourish.
